Suspects in custody after fight and shooting in Stafford County

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Stafford County Sheriff’s Office deputies have arrested suspects involved in a fight and shooting that took place early Friday morning outside of a restaurant in the county.

A caller had reported four or five men outside the Buffalo Mo’s restaurant in northern Stafford County, fighting with another man.

During the fight, one of the men brandished a handgun and fired several shots. Police confirmed that no one was injured in the shooting.

After the shooting, the men fled the scene in a vehicle.

Witnesses at the scene were able to give the names of two of the suspects involved in the incident along with a vehicle description and license plate number.

As a result, police were able to track down the vehicle at the residence where the vehicle was registered.

The Special Weapons and Tactics Team responded to the scene at 7:30 a.m. and established a perimeter before the suspects surrendered just before noon.

The names of the suspects are currently being withheld as the police investigation continues.

The Sheriff’s office said that all suspects are now in custody and that there is no existing danger in relation to this incident.
