RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Recent reports of voter fraud in the commonwealth have Virginia Republican lawmakers concerned ahead of the upcoming election.
The lawmakers are calling a meeting Thursday morning to discuss “election readiness” and concerns of the voter fraud allegations happening across the state.

Officials say a James Madison University student filed voter registration applications under names of people who have passed away.
The joint meeting with the privileges and elections committees will start at 9 a.m. Thursday at Capitol Square.
