Manhunt underway in Richmond for suspects involved in armed carjacking

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond Police are on the search for 3 suspects involved in an armed carjacking.

Police told 8News that around 3 a.m. Wednesday, a newspaper carrier was delivering on the 4700 block of Bromley Lane in Richmond when he was approached by 3 armed black males.

The three males then took off with the carrier’s car.


Police later spotted the stolen vehicle and tried to pull the suspects over, which then began a short pursuit.

The pursuit ended on Westover Hills Boulevard and New Kent Avenue. K9 units searched the area for the suspects, but they were not found.
