Chesterfield County Police to hold discussion about police-community relations


CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chesterfield County Police are holding an open forum tonight to address questions and concerns about police-community relations in the wake of national outcry over police-involved shootings.

The open dialogue will feature Colonel Thierry Dupuis, Lt. Colonel Dan Kelly and other members of the Chesterfield Count Police Department.

All community members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

However, police did note that childcare would not be provided during the event.

The event is being held tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Southside Church of the Nazarene, located at 6851 Courthouse Road in Chesterterfield.


The event is set to last until 8 p.m.
