Missing ODU student returns home with injuries

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — An Old Dominion University student that went missing Saturday afternoon has returned home.

According to police, Matthew S. Choy, 22, was reported missing from his Norfolk residence around 1 p.m. Saturday. Police said Saturday he may be in crisis and possibly injured.

Police spokesman Daniel Hudson said Sunday that Choy walked into his home with some injuries. Hudson says Choy went to the hospital to check it out, and that they do not know what happened.

Police say they will talk with Choy after he is checked out of the hospital.
