CAROLINE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Caroline County deputies arrested a Woodford man after seizing $16,000 worth of heroin from his home.

On Thursday, September 29, the Caroline County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) executed a search warrant at a residence on Villeboro Road in Woodford, in relations to an undercover heroin distribution investigation.

CCSO says investigators conducted several undercover purchases of heroin from a suspected heroin dealer living in the residence, which led to the search warrant.

While searching the home, investigators reported seizing heroin with a street value of $16,000, digital weight scales, a small amount of marijuana, a money ledger, various smoking devices, ammunition, and other paraphernalia.

29-year-old Justin Parker of Woodford was arrested and charged with distribution of heroin, possessing heroin with the intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana.

Parker is being held at the Pamunkey Regional Jail without bond.
