Chesterfield County Police searching for 7-11 robbery suspect

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chesterfield County Police are searching for a man who they say robbed a local 7-11 convenience store.

The incident occurred September 29th at about 9:15 p.m. at the 7-11 at 12120 Harrowgate Road.

No people were harmed during the incident.

Police say the suspect walked into the business and showed a handgun before demanding money from the registers. The suspect fled on foot after receiving cash.

Police described the suspect as a black male between the ages of 20 and 25, standing between 6 foot and 6 foot 2 inches tall with a heavy build. At the time of the incident, the suspect wore a gray hoodie, black jacket, dark pants and a red cloth over his face.
