Blighted Bon Secours homes demolished after neighbors complained to 8News about eyesores


RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The abandoned and blighted homes owned by Bon Secours in Henrico County are being demolished Tuesday and neighbors say they are happy about it.

Bon Secours is taking down three houses on Paxton Street and one on Maple Avenue after neighbors complained for months to 8News that the homes were an eyesore and attracting squatters.

Bon Secours says they plan to eventually take down 12 homes in the area.
