Distribution begins Monday for National Museum of African American History and Culture passes

Richmond, VA (WRIC) — Tickets to visit the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture will be released Monday at 9 a.m.

Visitors need to have a pass to enter the museum, which opened to the public on September 24.

All tickets for 2016 have been claimed.

The passes released on Monday will grant admission in January, February and March 2017. They are available through the museum’s website, or by calling ETIX Customer Support Center at 866-297-4020 beginning at 9 a.m. Monday.

There is a limit of six free passes per order. There are a limited number of same-day timed passes, which are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis at the museum beginning at 9:15 a.m.
