CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Folks will soon be donning their cowboy hats and pulling on their boots to gallop out to the American Cancer Society’s fall fundraiser.
As part of the event, the band Outshyne will be performing.
The group started playing together in 2007.
They have been traveling around performing at benefit concerts ever since.
On November 5th, Outshyne will play at the Cattle Baron’s Ball.
It’s a cause the band says they feel close to.
“I think everybody has dealt with cancer in some way,” Josh, the band’s guitar player said. “I know I’ve lost family to cancer. Our other guitar player that’s not here, his mom is a cancer survivor. I think everybody has dealt with cancer in their family at some point.”
