Woman robbed at knifepoint in Chesterfield County Dollar Tree parking lot

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Police are searching for a man who robbed a woman in the parking lot of the Dollar Tree in Chesterfield County Sunday night.

Authorities said the robbery occurred at 6449 Centralia Road at about 9:42 p.m.

The victim, who works at the business, had closed and locked the store and was leaving just after 9:30 p.m. when she was approached by the suspect.

The suspect displayed a knife and demanded money. The suspect took cash that belonged to the business from the victim before fleeing on foot.

No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet 6 inches tall with a large build. He was wearing black clothing, a hooded shirt, with a bandana covering his part of his face, and sunglasses.
