VCU buys property on West Grace Street

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — VCU has bought a piece of property on West Grace Street.

The university shelled out $2 million for the .2-acre facility.

The VCU Institue for Contemporary Art, which will be a gateway to the university, is under construction at the corner of West Broad and Belvidere Streets.

The project is set to open next year.
