LOS ANGELES (WRIC/ABC News) — Meet Professor Beauregard Tirebiter — the first full-time university facility dog in the U.S.
The 2-year-old Goldendoodle works full-time at the University of Southern California’s student health center as a therapy dog.
The center hopes the pup will bring a sense of unity on campus and provide therapeutic companionship.
“We wanted to do something that would change our culture,” Paula Lee Swinford, director of the Office of Wellness and Health Promotion told USC News.
For now, Professor Tirebiter is learning to get comfortable all over campus, in addition to learning USC’s official fight song.
