VCU Police searching for man accused of grabbing victim’s buttocks on Monroe Park Campus


RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — VCU Police are on the lookout for a man accused of grabbing a victim’s buttocks on VCU’s campus and then fleeing.

On September 19, at 11:52 a.m., VCU Police were notified of a sexual battery on the Monroe Park Campus.

The incident took place at 11:41 a.m. on Goshen Street. The suspect grabbed the victim’s buttocks and fled northbound on Goshen Street.

VCU Police are investigating this incident and have increased patrols in the area.

The suspect is described as a tall, slim, black male, in his 20’s. He was last seen shirtless and carrying a white t-shirt over his head, was wearing dark colored shorts, a white belt, and black and white sneakers.

Police also said they do not believe the sexual battery that occurred on September 10 on Monroe Park Campus is related to this incident.
