Washington Wizards training camp returning to VCU

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — For the first time since 2009, the Washington Wizards will be holding training camp at VCU’s Siegel Center.

The Wizards, who held camp at VCU from 2003-09, have spent the past several years training at various locations in northern Virginia and Washington D.C., including George Mason University and the Verizon Center.

Camp will open in Richmond on Tuesday, Sept. 27, and conclude Saturday, Oct. 1. Practice will be open to the public on Friday, September 30 from 6-7:30 p.m.
