Richmond Police catch suspected bank robber

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The 1st Union Bank on the 3500 block of W. Cary St.was robbed shortly before 2 p.m. on Friday.

According to the Richmond Police Department, officers located the suspect riding in a cab on Forest Hill Avenue.

After a short foot pursuit, the robber was captured at the intersection of Forest Hill Ave and Westover Hills Boulevard.

The investigation is on-going.
