Amber Alert issued for 6-year-old North Carolina girl

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WNCN) — An Amber Alert was issued Wednesday night for a 6-year-old girl from Wilmington, officials say.

An abductor took Stefanny Lenneth Lopez-Castro from 5140 Carolina Beach Road, lot 80 Wilmington on Wednesday afternoon, the alert said.

Stefanny is described as a white/Hispanic female, approximately 4 feet tall, weighing 39 pounds. She has black hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white short-sleeve shirt, light pink shorts with white polka dots, and black flip-flops. She has pierced ears with Cubic Zirconia earrings

The possible abductor was seen wearing a black short sleeve shirt with a dragon on it. He had long black pants and boots. He also had a black helmet. He spoke English and is possibly white or Hispanic.

She was last seen just after 5 p.m. on Carolina Beach Road and was headed south.

Officials said that the man who abducted Stefanny was riding on a black moped.
