Fla. teen ‘Dr. Love’ not granted bond in Stafford County court

STAFFORD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The 19-year-old accused of pretending to be a doctor in Flordia was not granted bond in a Virginia courtroom Wednesday afternoon.

Malachi Love-Robinson was in Stafford County court for a bond hearing on fraud charges related to a new incident.

Authorities said Robinson tried to buy a car using a distant relative’s credit card information.

Police said he brought a disabled, elderly woman who claimed to be his mother, to a car dealership to buy a Lexus.

Robinson’s next court date is set for November 18 at 1 p.m.
