Girl drives Barbie car full of gifts for neighbors who lost everything

HUDSONVILLE, MI (WCMH) — A 4-year-old Michigan girl is making headlines for a selfless act.

Becca VanZyll of Hudsonville, Michigan, piled toys that were meant to be her birthday and Christmas presents into her hot pink Barbie car and took off down the street. While some 4-year-olds might just take off with the toys to go play, Becca had a different idea in mind — she delivered the toys to three girls who needed them more.

The Walker-Vu family lost everything when a fire ripped through their home. Their house, once full of clothes and toys, is now considered a total loss. While the community has rallied behind the family, the grandmother of the Walker-Vu girls says Becca’s actions stand out above the rest.

“I cried, I got teared up,” Sue Walker told WXMI. “It was unbelievable, for the little girl to donate her own toys and items of hers to three little girls that she doesn’t even know. She’s a special little girl.”

You can support the Walker-Vu family on their GoFundMe page that the Hudsonville community set up for them.
