CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — In just a couple of months, folks will have the chance to put on their boots, finest flannel, and kick up their heels for a great cause.
The Cattle Baron’s Ball is being held at Keystone Acres in Chesterfield County on Saturday, November 5. Funds will be raised for the fight against cancer at this western gala.
The Cattle Baron’s Ball originated in Dallas, Texas more than 35 years ago and is now the American Cancer Society’s signature western event with more than 50 Cattle Baron’s events nationwide, including Charlotte and Tampa.
Patti Jackson with the American Cancer Society and this year’s honorary chairs, Doug and Ginger Pridgen with the Haley Automotive Group, came to the 8News studio to tell us all about the night full of fun, food, and boot scootin’. Watch the full interview in the video above.
