HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) — Police are searching the man accused of robbing a Hopewell 7-Eleven early Monday morning.
At approximately 3:15 a.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at 2014 W. Broadway St. for a reported robbery that had just occurred.
The investigation revealed that the lone offender entered the business and demanded money from the clerk.
The offender then fled the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. No weapon was displayed during the incident and no one was injured.
The offender is described as a white male between the ages of 35 to 40 years old, 5’9”- 6’0”, 165-175 pounds, with light brown/red in color hair, a mustache, and a beard.
The suspect also has tattoos on both upper forearms. He was last seen wearing a dark colored t-shirt with the word “Fresh” written on the front, dark colored shorts, socks, and sandals.
The Hopewell Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this matter and is following up on viable leads.
