17-year-old endangered Powhatan County girl missing 20 days

POWHATAN COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — The Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 17-year-old girl who has been missing for 20 days.

Candice Gomness, who was reported missing on August 5, is believed to be endangered as she takes several medications that are not in her possession.

She is described as a 5-foot-8, 135-pound white female with multiple scares on both arms.

Authorities believe she left her residence on her own free will, although it is unknown who she may be traveling with.
