Haas throws 1st pitch, Squirrels fall to Senators 8-5

Richmond, VA – The Harrisburg Senators (64-61) rallied from two early deficits on Saturday night, and succeeded in holding off Richmond (53-72) by a final of 8-5 in front of 9,464 fans at The Diamond. The Squirrels squandered leads of 2-0 and 5-2 as Harrisburg came back to snap their five-game losing streak. Richmond’s Chris Shaw homered, doubled and reached base four times in the defeat. Starting pitchers Kyle Crick and Whit Mayberry both received no-decisions in the contest.
