Quioccasin Station Shopping Center hosts back to school bash

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — From college down to kindergarten, back to school is just around the corner.

On Saturday, businesses at the Quioccasin Station Shopping Center gave families a place to kick off the new school year.

There was food, live music, and a petting zoo for families.

Attendees told 8News that it was a great event to come out with the family.

“They did a great job — it was kind of hot but we went inside the Little Core Academy and did a wine tasting and played at the petting zoo in the shade. So, we had fun,” said Megan Hazzard.

The event ends at 10 p.m.
