ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. (WPXI) — Pennsylvania authorities are trying to locate twin teens after their mother admitted that she sold them years ago.
Allegheny County Children, Youth and Families were supposed to take Patricia Fowler’s six children into protective custody in June, but when they arrived at the home, they were unable to locate her fraternal twins, a boy and a girl.
Fowler told police multiple stories about the twins’ whereabouts, and finally told them she sold the twins for $2,000 each. However, when police told Fowler about the potential penalties of selling a child, she told them they were not sold.
Police and family members have been unable to locate the twins. They would now be 17 years old.
