What to expect from the Redskins’ four preseason games

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — It’s true that the Redskins have a game Thursday night, and that’s a great thing for the fans who miss football. But don’t get too excited over their match up with the Atlanta Falcons.

According to Head Coach Jay Gruden, the starters will not play very much against Atlanta, and the game will be used mostly to take a look at guys on the fringes of the 53-man roster. The same goes for preseason game number two.

It is not until the third preseason game that fans can see some approximation of the team that Gruden will put on the field Week One against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The fourth preseason game will hardly feature any starters.
