Redskins host Kids’ Day at Training Camp

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Washington Redskins finished up day 11 of training camp Tuesday, and it was no ordinary day.

For the first time in the four years that the Redskins have held training camp in Richmond, they hosted Kids’ Day. In addition to the NFL Play 60 playground, which has been open since camp opened, the team held a Punt Pass and Kick competition and had face painting.

The Washington Redskins took the opportunity to donate $50,000 worth of sports equipment to eight area youth organizations.
