‘Community Immunity’ offers free back-to-school vaccinations

Richmond, Va. (WRIC) — CrossOver Healthcare Ministry is offering back-to-school vaccinations and physicals for students who do not have students in the Richmond area.

The “Community Immunity” event also includes dental and vision screenings. The vaccines offered are only available for children with no health insurance. All services are offered free of charge.

Children up to 18 years old who are uninsured or have Medicaid or AMIS may use the services. Those who attend must bring the child’s vaccine record and school physical forms.

The first event is Friday, August 12 at the CrossOver Downtown location at 108 Cowardin Ave. in Richmond. The second is on Saturday, August 13 at CrossOver West at 8600 Quioccasin Road in Richmond.

Both events go from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
