Study: Drinking alcohol leads to happier marriage

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — It turns out drinking a glass of wine or a pint of beer with your spouse could be good for the relationship.

A new study finds couples who drink together are happier than couples which only one partner drinks.

The couples who drink together were married an average of 33-years and for out two-thirds of them, it was their first marriage.
