Henrico bail bondsman arrested on sex assault charge

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A local bail bondsman was arrested Friday on multiple charges, including sex assault and intimidation.

Vladimir Tarabay, who owns and operates FAST Bail Bonding, is being held without bond at the Henrico County Jail. He is being charged with forcible sodomy, intimidation with money and making threats, according to the Henrico County Sheriff’s Office.

According to his bio on the Virginia Bail Association website, Tarabay, 60, is a former U.S. Air Force officer, local entrepreneur and competitive body builder.

His company, which he opened in 2013, serves the Richmond, Henrico, and Chesterfield Virginia area and surrounding communities including Hanover, Hopewell, Petersburg, New Kent, Suffolk, and as far as Newport News and Charlottesville.
