LANSING, Mich. (WOOD) — Golden State Warriors forward and former Michigan State star Draymond Green was arrested for assault on Sunday.
Green was arrested in East Lansing near the downtown business district around 2:30 a.m. and is facing assault and battery charges under the city code, according to Lt. Scott Wriggelsworth with the East Lansing Police Department.
The male victim was not injured in the incident, Wriggelsworth told 24 Hour News 8.
Green was released from jail after posting a $200 bond. He has 10 days to turn himself in and be arraigned on the charges.
Green was previously selected to play for the Olympic men’s basketball team in August.
