“I got up early this morning and I was cooking about 10 (in the morning) and I looked out the window and saw all the water gushing out of this hole. Me and a couple of neighbors saw this big hole in the street, the next thing I know the water was off,” exclaimed Calvin.

Brittany Carroll was leaving her home for breakfast when she noticed the water on her street.

“A huge river of water was going down the street; we thought it was from the rain, we walked over you could feel the ground pulsating underneath the asphalt, really weak, maybe we shouldn’t be standing on this,” Carroll explained.

Crews continued to work on repairing the water line and Calvin continued to prepare her meals for her family.

“We’re managing, I got all my cooking done early but it’s kind of hard not to wash dishes, we’ll have to manage some kind of way. Hopefully, no one has to go the bathroom yet,” Calvin chuckled.
