Parts of Three Chopt to remain closed through Monday after water main break

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A section of Three Chopt Road, between North Parham Road and Pemberton Road will remain closed through Monday while workers repair a water main which broke Saturday morning.

Traffic continues being diverted from Three Chopt toward via Quiocccasin Road and Pemberton Road. Residents from the area will be allowed to access the closed portion of the road.

The break occurred near Three Chopt Road and Sweetwater Lane and is expected to disrupt water service to around 30 customers.

According to a press release, the Henrico County Department of Public Utilities still expects to restore water service to these customers by midnight Sunday morning.

Bottled water will be available onsite for those in need.
