VCU Police rescue kitten from parking deck

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — VCU Police helped rescue a kitten they found alone in the Broad Street parking deck stairwell Tuesday morning.

Sgt. Aaron LaVigne and Cpl. Cory Neace are calling the cat “Curtis,” and say he is now with Richmond Animal Care and Control on Chamberlayne Avenue. Their facebook post of the cat has dozens of likes and shares.

Curtis will be available for adoption once he weighs at least a pound.
