Child suffers minor injuries after being struck by GRTC bus in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A child riding a bicycle suffered minor injuries after being struck by a GRTC bus in Richmond Wednesday evening.

According to Richmond Police, the child pulled out of an alleyway and in front of the bus at the intersection of 18th St. and Dinwiddie Avenue. The child was transported to VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say no charges will be filed against the bus driver.
