Teacher’s aide arrested after teens found drinking in Henrico County home

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Two women – one a teacher’s aide at Glen Allen High School – were arrested after they allegedly allowed multiple teenagers to consume alcohol inside a home in Henrico County.

Police say they responded to the 10800 block of Kilpatrick Lane on Sunday, June 19 for reports of disorderly conduct. They arrived and found multiple teenagers drinking inside a residence.

The homeowner, 49-year-old Rebecca An Yaniga, was arrested and charged with two counts of contributing to a juvenile. Henrico schools confirm to 8News that Yaniga is an instructional assistant at Glen Allen High School.

Henrico Police say another woman, 44-year-old Kristie Renae Mainze, was also present inside the home and charged with two counts of contributing to a minor.
