Richmond families display their history at an artifact roadshow

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — People from around Central Virginia got a chance to showcased items Saturday, as part of their Virginia War Memorial Artifacts Roadshow Spring Edition 2016.

Attendees were encouraged to bring in family memorabilia from home to have viewed by experts.

Some of the items included a hat, worn by a gentleman who was killed in WWII and pins from people who served in different wars.

One person brought in a Purple Heart and Silvers Star.
