Woman identified after being found shot to death at a Richmond hotel

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond police have identified the woman that was found shot to death inside a hotel room Friday night.  Paige E. Johnson was found shot to death inside a hotel room at the Midlothian Inn.

Police responded to reports of multiple shots fired in the 6200 block of Midlothian Turnpike at roughly 9:45 p.m. When they arrived, they found Johnson dead inside one of the rooms.

Johnson leaves behind two little girls and a little boy. Family members say they are deeply saddened by the loss.

Lynn Bouknight, Johnson’s aunt, talks about the kind of person her niece was before she died.

“She was so sweet, Bouknight said. “She didn’t have any enemies. She was just sweet and very kind.”

Police are looking for multiple suspects and are reviewing surveillance videos and interviewing people who were in that area during the time of the shooting.
