RPD looking for 2 men who stole hoverboards from Shockoe Bottom store

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating two suspects who stole two hoverboards from the Segway of Richmond store in Shockoe Slip last weekend.

Officers responded to a reported break-in at the store, located at 1301 E. Cary Street, at roughly 4:45 a.m. on Sunday, May 29. Minutes later, police say someone broke the store’s front window and stole two hoverboards.

Surveillance video shows the two male suspects fleeing west on East Cary Street away from the store. One of them is described as a black male who wore a teal t-shirt and white pants at the time of the incident. The second suspect is described as a black male who was dressed in all black with a red baseball hat.
