CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A 19-year-old is facing a handful of charges after he crashed a stolen vehicle into a home in Chesterfield County Friday morning.
The residents of the home, located on Fox Branch Court, were inside when the crash occurred.
The owner of the home, Chris Nelson, said the house completely shook. In fact, the grandma thought it was an earthquake.
The suspect, who has been identified as Jacob T. Cohan of the 15400 block of Foxvale Way, led officers on a short foot chase but was arrested near the scene.
He has been charged with DUI, underage possession of alcohol, felony hit-and-run and grand larceny. The owner says insurance is covering repairs.
