RPD officers honored at Fourth Baptist Church

RICHMOND, Va (WRIC) — Richmond Police officers were honored Sunday morning to kick off National Police Appreciation Week.

More than 200 officers attended a church service at Fourth Baptist Church.

The service was to honor active and fallen officers for their hard work.

A candlelight ceremony was led by Chief Durham for officers killed in the line of duty. Each name was read during the service.
