Three men rob a CVS pharmacy in Hanover and Walgreens in Henrico

HANOVER, Va. (WRIC) — The Hanover County Sheriff’s office is seeking help to identify three male suspects in a robbery of a CVS Pharmacy Thursday afternoon.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to the CVS located at 7084 Mechanicsville Turnpike after three male suspects entered the store and attempted to gain entry into the pharmacy.

Once the pharmacy door alarm was activated, the suspects fled the store.

Before exiting the store, one of the suspects brandished a firearm. The suspects were all wearing dark clothing and hoodies and were last seen running on foot towards Lee-Davis Road.

Just prior to the incident in Hanover County, police say the same suspects robbed the Walgreens on South Laburnum Avenue in Henrico County.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at (804) 365-6140 or the Metro Richmond Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.

Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637 (CRIMES), using the keyword “iTip” followed by their tip.

Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
