Suspects arrested after leading police on pursuit

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond Police have arrested two men in connection with a Forest Hill drug store robbery that occurred Thursday morning.  Both Emanuel T. Green, 33 and Zorin A. Holton, 27 were arrested and charged with robbery. Green was also charged with use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Police responded to the CVS at 6807 Forest Hill Avenue, where witnesses say two suspects, one armed with a handgun, demanded money and took prescription narcotics.  The suspects left the store through the back of the building.

The suspect’s vehicle was located while traveling on Hull Street Road after a brief pursuit.  Holton was the driver and made an abrupt right turn and struck a tree in the 4900 block of Hull Street Road.  He fled on foot where he was caught in the 1000 block of Circle Wood Drive.  Green was the passenger and was located inside the vehicle and was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Additional charges are pending for both Green and Holton.
