Involuntary manslaughter brought against driver charged in fatal Chesterfield wreck

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Chesterfield Police have charged a woman in connection to a fatal two-vehicle crash.

The accident happened in the 2300 block of West Hundred Road at about 11:11 p.m. on Thursday, May 5.

Police said a Toyota 4Runner was traveling west on West Hundred Road when it crossed over the median and into the eastbound lanes. The Toyota collided head-on with a Mercedes-Benz ML350 driven by 40-year-old Lesley N. Andorful.

Andorful, of the 13500 block of River Fork Way in Chesterfield, was transported to VCU Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

The two occupants of the Toyota were transported to VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

On Friday, May 6, the driver of the Toyota, 59-year-old Donna M. Browning, of the 6300 block of Old Zion Hill Road in Chesterfield, was charged with driving while intoxicated in relation to the crash. On Tuesday, August 9, Browning was back in court where she was additionally charged with involuntary manslaughter.

Police are still investigating this crash and additional charges are possible.
