Adopt a Furry Friend: Rosa Parks

RICHMOND Va (WRIC) — Rosa Parks visited the 8News studio on Friday.

This sweet little lady was rescued from a home in Henrico.

Tabitha Treloar with the Richmond SPCA tells 8News Rosa Parks was found living in terrible conditions with a large group of dogs in February. Most of the dogs are females and were named after influential and admirable women from history.

Rosa spent a month in a foster home, where she quickly learned to live indoors. The 10-year-old is described by the Richmond SPCA as a couch potato. During her visit, she was calm and eager to cuddle with her new friends. She’s very curious and likes to explore new surroundings.

If you’d like to meet Rosa Parks, you can set up a meeting at the Richmond SPCA.
