Juvenile stabbed during Chesterfield robbery

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Police say a juvenile was stabbed during a robbery Tuesday night.

Just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, police responded to the 600 block of S. Providence Road for a reported robbery. It was reported that three male suspects robbed and assaulted two juvenile male victims. One victim is 15-years-old the other is 16-years-old. The suspects are known to the victims.

One victim sustained a stab wound. He was transported to Chippenham Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The other victim was transported to St. Francis Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A phone, shoes and pants were taken from one of the victims. At this point, police say it appears the incident is drug related.

Police are still investigating.
