Researchers launch world’s largest study on autism, and you can help

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — One of the world’s largest studies on autism and genes is underway, and you can be a part of it.

Researchers plan to gather DNA from 50,000 people with autism and their family members.

The cause of autism is unknown, but researchers have identified 50 to 70 genes that may play a role in the disorder.
