HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A woman is facing multiple charges after police pulled her over in Henrico on Monday.
Police say they received information that 29-year-old Kimberlee Anne Wood was operating a vehicle with a suspended license while under the influence with juveniles in the vehicle.
Officers found the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Wood, after it parked in a driveway in the 2600 block of Kenwood Avenue. Police then searched Wood’s vehicle. While officers were searching, Wood removed an item from the vehicle and fled into a residence.
Officers were able to take Wood into custody and recovered various drugs and paraphernalia. She was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a schedule II drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, suspended license, resisting arrest and obstruction of justice.
