Richmond woman charged with making bomb threat to Chesterfield courthouse

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A 33-year-old Richmond woman has been arrested after making a bomb threat to the Chesterfield County Circuit Court.

Detectives with the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jodi Gayan of the 5000 block of Oriole Avenue in Richmond and charged her with threatening to bomb or burn an establishment. That’s a Class 5 felony punishable up to 10 years in prison. She is being held at the Chesterfield County Jail without bond.

The charge stems from a bomb threat made via telephone on Thursday, April 7.
