Spring Bloom Festival returns to Kings Dominion next weekend

DOSWELL, Va. (WRIC) — Kings Dominion will celebrate the return of its Spring Bloom Festival starting April 16. This is the third year for the festival.

Saturdays and Sundays through May 15, visitors will find internationally-inspired food and local drink pairings under the Eiffel Tower. The landscape crew has planted thousands of spring flowers along International Street.

Los Angeles-based multitalented singer/songwriter Sabrina Carpenter will perform hits from her debut album “Eyes Wide Open.” The concert is free with park admission. Seating is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Sabrina Carpenter will perform at the Kingswood Amphitheater on Saturday, May 14 at 6 p.m.

There will be arts and crafts for children and families in Planet Snoopy. Try your hand at woodworking at the Lowes Build & Grow Workshop, or get creative with some flower pot decorating. Meanwhile, the Bandstand on International Street will become the Spring Bloom Stage, where we will feature live local entertainment throughout Spring Bloom.
